Twilight Taster Sessions

Twilight Taster SessionsTwilight Taster sessions are short events after school, usually lasting one hour. They give you the opportunity to try out a course before you make an application to see if it would interest you. At The Sixth Form College, Solihull, we are offering taster sessions in the Autumn term in a range of advanced level courses. The list of events we are running is:

Modern Languages (French, German, Russian, Spanish– Thursday 8 November 2018 (5.00 – 6.00pm)

Visual Arts (Fine Art, Graphics, Photography, BTEC Art & Design– Monday 19 November 2018 (5.00 – 6.00pm)

Ancient History – Tuesday 20 November 2018 (4.30 – 5.30pm)

Geography & Geology – Tuesday 20 November 2018 (4.30 – 5.30pm)

Philosophy & Religious Studies – Tuesday 20 November 2018 (4.30 – 5.30pm)

Psychology – Wednesday 21 November 2018 (4.30 – 5.30pm)

Music – Thursday 22 November 2018 (5.00 – 6.00pm)

Criminology – Tuesday 27 November 2018 (4.20 – 5.00pm)

Politics – Tuesday 27 November 2018 (5.00 – 6.00pm)

English Language – Wednesday 28 November 2018 (4.30 – 5.30pm)


You will notice there are not tasters in all our courses, but those that are having tasters are listed above and you can sign up by clicking on the red text above. Please note, you will have to sign up for one taster at time, so if you want to attend more than one it is necessary to return to fill in the form again – apologies for any inconvenience. If you have questions, there is a question box on the registration form.

For those courses not offering taster sessions, please note you will get a chance to learn more about them at Welcome to College Day in June 2019. This is an event that every student with an offer will be invited to.
