The third and final issue of Teenscope, a magazine written by students at Solihull Sixth Form College, for their peers, has been published.
The termly publication features articles written by the Student Magazine enrichment group during the Summer Term. With one issue per term, the third edition features award-winning journalism, with Elsa Lowther and Lily Beddows contributing their first and second place prize-winning articles from the Cooper Prize for Journalism competition. They have written about archaeology and grief.
Also in this issue of Teenscope are articles about social media and self-image and a story from behind the scenes of the BTEC Creative Digital Media Production course.
Roy Preston commented, “It’s been great working with the students this year to produce three issues of Teenscope. I would particularly like to thank Lily Beddows, who helped me to keep the work coming this year, and Ruby Jones for providing the photos.”
