Spring Talks & Tours 2025
Spring Talks & Tours 2025
There is one last chance to visit Solihull Sixth Form College this academic year before the application deadline passes, with a Spring Talks & Tours event taking place in March.
Year 11 learners looking for college places in September 2025 to study A level, BTEC or T level courses have until 31 March 2025 to make their applications to the College. The Spring Talks & Tours event on Thursday 6 March is aimed at helping learners decided on their subject choices. With sessions taking place at 5.00pm and 6.00pm, the event consists of a talk from Principal Martin Sullivan and a tour of the campus from an existing student.
The event will give prospective learners the opportunity to see the facilities and resources at the College, while also getting a first-hand account from a current student about what it is like to study here.
College Principal Martin Sullivan commented:
"Our young people are well placed to talk to learners in Year 11 about their post-16 choices. It's not long ago that our students were in their shoes and they know what the step up from GCSE to A level, BTEC and T level is like. They are able to articulate the expectations of the College and talk to them about the differences in our learning ethos to that students will have had at school. We set high standards and support learners to achieve superb outcomes."
This event follows hot on the heels of three open events earlier in the year, which has seen thousands of young people and their families visit to see what the College has to offer. This has led to thousands of applications for places in September 2025.
