Bridging the Gap

To ensure students are ready for the challenge of advanced level study and to keep them stimulated between finishing their GCSE courses and starting here in September 2026, we have produced some study materials for each of our courses. These materials include suggested reading, activities and areas of research. We hope that students will take advantage of these resources to ensure they are as well prepared to start their A level, BTEC or T level study as they can be in September. In July, all prospective students will be given a summer homework for each of their courses. The summer homeworks must be completed prior to the commencement of Year 12 studies and are designed to help teachers see what standard learners are currently working at.

GCSE results are published on Thursday 20 August 2026. Pre-enrolment opens on this day and Year 12 enrolment for the 2025/26 academic year takes place on 25 and 26 August 2026. Our entry requirements remain the same. Students need to attain the required grades in their GCSEs in order to access courses and all offers are conditional on students meeting entry criteria (including subject-specific requirements).
