Solihull Sixth Form College is a centre of excellence for 16-19 education, helping young people to stretch their potential. We offer Level 3 advanced study, with a wide range of A level, BTEC and T level courses on offer. Our learners are supported by expert teachers to achieve their potential and each year this leads to progression onto a myriad of positive destinations at university, higher apprenticeship and employment.
- 1441 A*/A grades at A level and Distinction*/Distinction grades on BTEC and T level
- 37 courses with 100% Pass rate
- 48% A*- B grades at A level
- 75% A*- C grades at A level and 94% A*- C on EPQ
- 100% Pass rate and 85% high grades on BTEC (Distinction and above)
- 100% Pass rate and 92% high grades on T level (BBB equivalent and above)
- Outstanding progression to University, Apprenticeships and Employment
- More than 250 students accepted by Aston and 140 by University of Birmingham
- 50+ students have progressed to Oxbridge and Medical degrees in the last 3 years
A small group of students spoke to reporters from Channel 5 News on Results Day:
Two of our successful students spoke on results day about their feelings on the grades they achieved and their plans for the future. Mason Beirne got two A* grades and one A in A level Law, Politics and History, while Danny Morris achieved all A* grades in the same courses.
We spoke to parent Mrs Walker on Results Day, who had some fantastic testimony about what the College has done for her daughter. Harriet achieved top marks and is off to the University of Bristol following a highly successful two years of study at the College.
