Qualification: A Level Courses
(Alternative Academic Qualification, equivalent to 1 A level)
- The Pearson Level 3 Alternative Academic Qualification (AAQ) BTEC National in Medical Science (Extended Certificate) enables students to study the principles and applications of medical science.
- Students will also learn practical and investigation skills that build on this fundamental knowledge.
- This will give you the confidence to progress to university, where the qualification is accepted and supported, having been developed in partnership with them to ensure that you end up with the right combination of knowledge and skills for success in higher education.
- If you are interested in medical science or applied human biology, this is the course for you. It is taken as part of a programme of study including two other A Levels or AAQs.
