“I was told my whole academic life that I should apply to Oxford, but in secondary school I started to doubt my abilities. When I started at the College, teachers didn’t just tell me to apply, they also helped me. The diversity of the College has been my favourite thing. Doing a subject like RS with students with different religious backgrounds was far more interesting than it was in my Catholic secondary school.”
