Tyber is the College’s online information system. It is our main method of communication, enabling the College to work in partnership with Parents / Guardians and Students.
We want Parents and Guardians to register on Tyber, as it provides information enabling you to work with us in achieving the best possible progress and outcomes. You can access the system when the student is an applicant and continue to do so when he/she is enrolled. Once a student is enrolled, as a Parent / Guardian you are able to view:
- Student Timetable
- Live Attendance and Punctuality Records
- Student Record, including Praise and Concerns
- Checkpoint Information, including Targets and Working at Grade
- Student Targets
- Exam Timetables
- UCAS Personal Statement
In addition, once you are using Tyber, you will receive daily notification of any absence from lessons. Click on the Tyber logo on this page to visit Tyber now.
To register for Tyber
For legal reasons parental access to the system is initiated and controlled by the student.
The online application system requires the applicant to enter contact details for at least one guardian. When a guardian email address is included, upon submission of the application, an email invite to Tyber is automatically sent to it with instructions on how to activate the Guardian account. Upon completion of activation, a username and PIN will be sent to the registered email address, enabling you to login to Tyber.
Once you have an activated account, you can change your own contact details, including the email address. Note that you cannot change the details of another guardian or the student.
In the event that you are unable to Log in to Tyber
I have forgotten my Username or PIN: If you forget your PIN there is a reset link on the login page. An email will be sent to the registered email address. If you forget your username please ask your son / daughter as they can view this information on their details page.
I have not received an activation email: Initially, please check your Trash / Spam folder. If there is no email, then it is likely that the student has not entered your details, or that they have been entered inaccurately – please speak to your son/daughter and ask them to provide the correct details. Applicants will need to contact Admissions whilst enrolled students can add / amend the details online.
I have not completed the activation process: If you have the original email with the activation link, you can complete the process at any time. If you are unable to locate this, please contact MIS.
