Principal’s Online Talks

Principal Martin SullivanSolihull Sixth Form College Principal Dr Martin Sullivan is offering online talks and tours of the campus in March. The Spring Talks & Tours event takes place on Thursday 4 March 2021. Sign up here.

Principal Dr Martin Sullivan will be giving talks at 5.00pm and again at 6.00pm. He will be talking to prospective students and parents about what the College can offer, followed by Question & Answer sessions. For Year 11 students, who are considering their post-GCSE options, this event will enable them to learn more about the diverse range of A level, BTEC and CACHE courses the College offers.

The deadline for prospective students wishing to start their advanced level studies in September is 31 March 2021 and applications can be made by clicking here.

This event followed other Virtual Open Events in October, November and January and means that despite being unable to open our doors to prospective students and their families as we normally would, the College has been able to engage with thousands of young people and provide information on their post-16 options.

“We have already received many applications for this September, but there is still time for prospective students to apply. Whether an application has been completed or not, this Talks & Tours event will give those students, and their families, an opportunity to get any unanswered questions addressed.”

All students who apply and successfully receive a conditional offer from the College will be invited to a summer event called Welcome to College Day. Taking place in July, we hope that this event will be able to take place in-person and will allow those students wanting to join us next September to get a taste of College life and try out their new subjects. All offer holders will be contacted about this event in late Spring.
