Dance, Drama and Music students at The Sixth Form College, Solihull are bringing the Spring term to an end with stunning performances.
At the end of March, there are Dance and Drama Showcases taking place, as well as an Easter Concert:
Tuesday 20 March (5pm) – Drama Showcase
Wednesday 21 March (7pm) – Easter Concert
Thursday 22 March (7pm) – Dance Showcase
The Drama Showcase will include scripted extracts from the Year 13 Drama students and will feature adaptations of the following plays: “Mermaids” by Polly Teale, “Mine” by Polly Teale, “Woyzeck” by Georg Buchner and “Spring Awakening” by Frank Wedekind. Tickets for these four performances are available from the Central Admin Office on 0121 704 2581 or by emailing email@example.com. We are asking for donations of £4 for adults and £2 for concession for tickets and we are fundraising for the Performing Arts department.
The Dance Showcase will see students from both Year 12 and Year 13 showing off their assessed choreography, which will include solos and group performances in a contemporary style. Tickets for these performances are also available from the Central Admin Office on 0121 704 2581 or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. We are asking for donations of £2 for adults and £1 for concession for tickets and, again, proceeds will go towards the Performing Arts department.
For both the Drama and Dance Showcases, current students can order their tickets online if they have a ParentPay account.
Meanwhile, the Easter concert is free of charge, although we will have a voluntary retiring collection. We still ask that those wishing to attend reserve their tickets in advance and these tickets are available from the Marketing Office on 0121 704 2581 or by emailing email@example.com.
