Following guidance from the government about re-opening schools and colleges from 1 June, Solihull Sixth Form College is working on a strategy to deliver some contact for students with teachers.
The College hopes to deliver this from Monday 15 June for a 4-week period. However, the main method of support will continue to be through remote learning. The aim is to provide 1 session in each A level/A level equivalent subject and two sessions for BTEC Extended Diploma and CACHE students by the end of term. Students will be invited into specific sessions in small groups, and can only attend during these sessions to ensure we can keep the numbers of people on campus to a manageable level.
Further detailed guidance about how we will be maintaining social distancing and keeping staff and students safe will follow after half-term. The health and safety for our entire community will remain our top priority.
