Students at Solihull Sixth Form College featured on ITV Central News this month, talking about the impact on young people to the changes to plastic surgery advertising.
A TV camera visited the Widney Manor Road campus at the end of April to ask students for their views on cosmetic surgery advertising. Cosmetic surgery clinics will be banned from targeted under-18s with advertising of their products on all media, including social media s, billboards, newspapers, magazines and radio as well as social influencer marketing.
Many of the students involved in the interview were BTEC Digital Media Production students, so had a particular interest in television production and got a great insight into how TV news is made by being part of this.
