Creative Arts students at Solihull Sixth Form College are celebrating their achievements in the 2019/2020 academic year with an online show.
The 2020 Creative Arts Show encompasses the work of our A level Drama, Fine Art, Graphics, Music and Photography courses, as well as the BTEC Extended Diploma in Art & Design. Photos, videos and audio files have been added all in one place, to showcase the wonderful talents of our students.
Creative Arts Curriculum Leader Zoe Maksymiw commented:
“This time of year would normally see the Creative Arts department finalising a Visual Arts exhibition and perfecting performances and recitals. Just because we can’t do that in person, doesn’t mean we can’t celebrate the talents of our students, so we are delighted to be able to move it all online.
“All the staff in the Creative Arts team are justifiably proud of the hard work, dedication and commitment of the students this year. They have produced some outstanding work and it’s no surprise that many have got some fantastic destinations to progress onto next. They have got in to some of the most highly regarded institutions in the country, from Edinburgh University to Trinity Laban Conservatoire. They are doing a range of exciting courses from Architecture to Music Technology and much more in between. We wish them the best of luck in the future and we’re delighted to have been able to help them on the way to exciting careers.”
