Key Assessment 9 & 10 Dates — Solihull Sixth Form College

Key Assessment 9 & 10 Dates

Year 13 A level students and Year 12 BTEC students will be completing Key Assessments 9 and 10 between the 23rd April and the 18th May. The timetables, including rooming, for these assessments are below. Please note this is subject to change, but your teachers will keep you informed where this is the case. Please note, past timetables are removed, so it is always as up-to-date as it can be.

Also please note that the assessments originally scheduled to take place on 13 and 14 May have been rescheduled to 17 and 18 May to allow students who observe Eid to do so uninterrupted.

If you are a student requiring additional support such as the following…

• Reader
• Scribe
• Extra time
• Discrete room
• Prompter
• Rest Break
• Word Processor

…then the Key Assessment start times below are accurate, but you should report to Malvern for each assessment. If you are unsure if this applies to you, please check with the Exams Office.

A reminder that you should continue to attend all lessons unless you have a scheduled Key Assessment. Once you have completed your Key Assessments for a particular subject, you are not expected to attend lessons in that subject for the remainder of the key assessment window (i.e. live lessons are paused from the12th May at the latest). However, for a few subjects these arrangements do not apply and in these cases, you will be informed.

Students will return to College on the 24th and 25th May (according to their College timetable) to attend live lessons in each of their subjects, where remote learning will be set – attendance to this is compulsory.

A final reminder that these are not exams but should be taken seriously, as you have taken all of your Key Assessments seriously. Please arrive promptly and with writing materials ready (pens and paper). Good luck.
