Twilight Tasters

Twilight Taster sessions are short events after school, usually lasting 45-90 minutes and taking place after school. They give you the opportunity to try out a course before you make an application to see if it would interest you.

Some of our courses are holding twilight taster sessions in the autumn term – We are finalising the dates for these at the moment and they will appear below by mid-October. Please note, there are not twilight tasters taking place for all subjects in the Autumn. However, every students who has an offer of a place for September will be invited to Welcome to College Day on Thursday 3 July 2025, when they will have a taster in every subject they have an offer in.

Twilight Tasters for Autumn 2024 and Spring 2025 which have been confirmed so far are:

Wednesday 23 October (5.00pm – 6.00pm) – Modern Languages (A level French, German and Spanish)
Monday 11 November (5.00pm – 6.00pm) – BTEC IT
Monday 11 November (5.00pm – 6.00pm) – BTEC Creative Digital Media Production
Monday 18 November (5.00pm - 6.00pm) - Performing Arts (Drama & Music)
Monday 18 November (5.00pm – 6.00pm) – Visual Arts 
Thursday 21 November (5.00pm – 6.00pm) – Geology
Monday 3 February (5.00pm – 6.00pm) – BTEC IT – BOOK NOW
Monday 2 February (5.00pm – 6.00pm) – BTEC Creative Digital Media Production – BOOK NOW
