Sophie Baggaley left the College in 2015 to pursue Physiotherapy studies and a football career, after achieving all A and A* grades in her A level studies.
She studied Physical Education, Biology, Chemistry and AS Mathematics at the College, after moving away from her family in Derby so she could also play for Birmingham City Ladies. As well as being an exemplary student, she broke her way into the England Uner-19 team, playing in goal. Sophie is now studying at the University of Birmingham.
“I have met many new people during my time at College and made many good friends. I have also thoroughly enjoyed each of the A level courses I have studied and have enjoyed the more individual approach to studying. The support that the teachers have given me has had a huge influence in enabling me to be able to balance both my football for Birmingham City Ladies and my studies.”
