Bridging the Gap

BRIDGING THE GAP – Year 11 to Year 12

To ensure students are ready for the challenge of advanced level study and to keep them stimulated during this exceptional period of school closure resulting from the Covid -19 pandemic, we have produced some study materials for each of our courses. These materials include suggested reading, activities and areas of research. We hope that students will take advantage of these resources to ensure they are as well prepared to start their A level, BTEC or CACHE study as they can be in September. In June all prospective students will be given a summer homework for each of their courses. The summer homeworks must be completed prior to the commencement of Year 12 studies.

The Government have confirmed that GCSE results will be published as originally planned on 20 August 2020 and enrolment for the 2020/21 academic year will take place at the end of August. Our entry requirements remain the same. Students will need to attain the required grades in their GCSEs in order to access courses and all offers are conditional on students meeting entry criteria.
