Our Facilities

Since opening its doors for the first time in 1974 the Sixth Form College, Solihull has expanded not only in terms of size, but in sophistication as well. It is now an institution that boasts state-of-the-art facilities to aid the highest levels of post-16 education provision.
Set in 10 acres of beautiful grounds, the campus consists of seven main buildings, each catering for different and varied aspects of academic study, as well as extensive outdoor leisure facilities.
The specific facilities needed to support the wide range of courses we offer are all available on site, including:
- classrooms
- lecture theatres
- science laboratories
- workshops
- a multi-media language lab
- art and drama studios
- music facilities, including a recording studio
The College's sporting facilities include a recently opened Sports Centre, which features a brand new Fitness Suite. A Sports Hall, squash courts, outdoor basketball and tennis courts and extensive playing fields mean there is plenty of provision for recreation and leisure.
The Learning Centre is one of the College's best resources. As well as library facilities, there is an open access IT area with a network of 130 PCs installed with industry standard software.
Away from study, there is a large student common room and a separate refectory, which has recently been expanded to incorporate an internet cafe and coffee bar.
