The Sixth Form College, Solihull and the Ninestiles Academy Trust are delighted to announce the appointment of a permanent Principal at the College, with Dr Martin Sullivan being named in the role. Martin Sullivan took over in April as Interim Principal, after previous Principal Paul Ashdown announced his decision to retire.
Catherine Anwar, Chief Executive Officer of the Ninestiles Academy Trust, commented:
“I’m delighted to announce that Martin Sullivan has now been appointed as substantive Principal at The Sixth Form College, Solihull, after a challenging interview process and some stiff competition. Sincere thanks to all who took part in the process and helped with the interviewing and organisation of a very complex day on Wednesday. I congratulate Martin on his appointment; I know that we all look forward to working with him as he leads the College to even greater success.”
Principal Martin Sullivan added:
“I am delighted to have been selected as the new permanent Principal; it is an honour and privilege to lead The Sixth Form College, Solihull. The College is already an excellent place to study and a highly aspirational target for young people in the area, as was demonstrated by the hundreds of prospective students who visited Open Evening last week. I want to build on the strong academic learning culture and success of the College and further develop teaching and learning and student experience to ensure that it is a truly outstanding place for all of our students and staff to work and study.”
