Accommodation
We support international students in their search for appropriate accommodation during their stay in the UK.
Many students have family nearby and choose to stay with them, which we fully support. However, we recognise that there are those who are entirely new to the UK who may need assistance in finding suitable accommodation.
For students under the age of 18, home stay accommodation is provided. This is where students stay with a host family near to the College, where they are provided with their own furnished bedroom and study space. The cost of this accommodation varies from family to family, but is usually £60 - £80 per week and includes breakfast and dinner.
The families that provide their accommodation are welcoming and friendly people, who will welcome you into their homes and help to make you as comfortable as possible.
Below is Janet Harris (far right), who is already providing accommodation for international students at the College.
The house is within walking distance from College and the town centre and both girls have their own rooms. There is plenty of space for both to work on their College studies, relax and enjoy themselves and sit down to eat.
The house is spacious and situated in a pleasant and safe area. It provides Erika and Andre with a warm, friendly home for their time in Solihull.
During their stay, Janet has become more than just a landlady, she has welcomed the girls into her family and become a friend as well.
