Exam Service — Solihull Sixth Form College

Exam Service

The College has a dedicated Exams Office, with staff who ensure examinations are efficiently organised and exam results are promptly delivered to students. They are also on hand to help students with any queries they may have about exams and to organise copies of exam scripts and re-takes if necessary.

Important information from Ofqual regarding contingency days for Summer exams 2024

The exam timetable contains three contingency sessions on the afternoons of 6 and 13 June, and all day on 26 June. These sessions would be used in the unlikely event that an exam had to be moved nationally because it could not take place when planned. Learners must be available for all three contingency sessions, even if they do not have exams scheduled on that day. These sessions cannot be used to reschedule an exam that learners have missed. If an exam has to be moved to one of these sessions, learners will be informed.
