Enrichment
The College offers enrichment activities to students to participate in alongside their programme of studies. There are more than 40 enrichment activities for students to choose between, ranging from the High Achievers Programme to the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme, introduction to Film Studies, Computer Animation and the Debating Society.
Sport provides a significant section of the enrichment choices, with football, rugby, hockey, cricket and basketball among the sports that boast teams participating in local leagues and national competitions.
Indoor football, badminton, squash, table tennis, outdoor basketball, tennis and aerobics are other sporting enrichment options.
There is also a strong tradition of music and drama at the College, with an annual production and regular music concerts being performed. Students studying A Level Music, Music Technology and Theatre Studies often participate in this, but those choosing musical and theatrical options for enrichment can play their part too.
There is a full orchestra, string quartet and soul band to participate with, depending upon your musical talents and interests.
If sport, music and drama do not appeal there is even the opportunity to enjoy such activities as learning sign language, taking a driving enrichment or adding further academic qualifications.
