Step-by-Step Guide
This could not be easier. Here is a step-by-step guide to the application process.
STEP 1: Either complete the online application form at or fill out a paper application form, which we will post out on request. When you apply online, an account will be created for you in our Application Centre and you can log in at any time and check the status of your application.
STEP 2: We will send you confirmation that your application has been received within two weeks.
STEP 3: We will contact your school for a reference.
STEP 4: If your application indicates you will meet our entry criteria, we will contact you to invite you to an interview. At the interview we will discuss your application and your subject choices. Interviews are allocated on a ‘first come, first served’ basis, so please do not worry if there is a delay in arranging your appointment. If you apply online or provide an email address, please note that all correspondence will be via email.
STEP 5: All being well, we will make you a written offer of a place at the College. We will ask you to confirm acceptance of the offer, which you can do by logging into the Application Centre. If you applied via a paper application form, we will send you a reply form to fill in and return to us by post.
STEP 6: You will be invited to attend our summer Induction to College event, where you can get a taste of College life. If you wish to enrol at the College it is essential you attend this event and failure to attend can put your place at risk.
STEP 7: We will write to you over the summer with details about enrolment, which will take place after GCSE results are known. It is important that you attend on the date and time you have been given. Failure to attend enrolment can put your place at risk. After enrolment, your studies can start.
The deadline for applications for September 2013 entry is 29 March 2013.
We have a new Facebook Admissions page for prospective students. If you are thinking of applying or already have done so and want to keep in touch with the College's Admissions Officer "like" this page. Feel free to ask any questions you may have and we will answer them as quickly as we can.
